Pineal gland supplements That Improve Lifespan

Pineal gland supplements That Improve Lifespan

Endocrine glands are glands of epithelial origin that secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream so that they can reach organs and tissues.

The pineal gland (epiphysis), which owes its name to its shape roughly resembling that of a pinecone, is a small endocrine gland located in the centre of the cranial box, where it makes up a large part of the epithalamus.

The pineal gland is also called the “third eye” (parietal eye) because some amphibians and reptiles have a small area on the surface of the head composed of photosensitive cells, which does not serve to see, but performs other functions associated with the pineal gland. These functions are particularly re

lated to the regulation of circadian cycles, the alternation between wakefulness and sleep, and the production of hormones for thermoregulation.

The pineal gland is subject to a number of factors that diminish its efficiency, which we will see below. How to improve pineal gland function? Fortunately, it is possible to offer sensible help in the proper maintenance of its functions, with supplements for pineal gland such as EPITIDE®, that regularize and promote the healthy longevity and life extension by affecting this very important gland.

Melatonin has many benefits and is produced by the pineal gland

The pineal gland, which is about the size of a grain of rice, is responsible for the synthesis and secretion of a key hormone: melatonin.

Where is the pineal gland located? It is a small endocrine gland located deep within the brain. It is situated in the epithalamus, a region in the central part of the brain between the two cerebral hemispheres.

The main function of melatonin is to provide the organism with information about the length of the day and night, acting as a transducer of light; it is defined as a kind of “biological clock,” which allows our organism to adapt to the environment.

Melatonin secretion is affected by exposure to sunlight: when the light stimulus reaches the retina, a signal is transmitted to the pineal gland and its secretion is inhibited. Darkness, in contrast, stimulates its release.

In fact, it is known that plasma concentrations of melatonin during the night are 3 to 10 times higher than during daylight hours.

Melatonin has a sedative effect: its increase in blood concentration is a signal that informs the body that it is dark and therefore it is time to sleep and rest.

Therefore, its nocturnal production is crucial for the regulation of the sleep-wake cycle.

Melatonin also has important antioxidant properties; many researches has showed how it can act on the deleterious effects of free radicals; it also increases the cytotoxic action of NK cells (natural killer cells), which are very important in immune defence, so it therefore stimulates our immune system.

This molecule also appears to be useful in the management of some complex diseases, such as cardiovascular and neurological, and finds application in the field of antiaging.

Some authors have discovered that melatonin could exert significant anti-apoptotic activity against thymic cells, thus enhancing the pull of cellular elements deputed to protect the human organism from neoplastic clones.

This immunomodulatory action of melatonin observed in vitro and in experimental models, would therefore seem interesting and potentially useful in the management of complex diseases, such as oncological ones.

According to research, melatonin would also prove valuable in controlling some typical symptoms of jetlag, such as disorientation, nausea, poor appetite and sleep disturbances. This is due to melatonin’s ability to synchronize biological rhythms and speed up the time it takes to adapt to the time zone change.

What are the causes of calcification of the pineal gland?

Due to its exceptionally high vascularization and its location outside the blood–brain barrier, the pineal gland may accumulate significant amounts of calcium and fluoride, making it the most fluoride-saturated organ of the human body. Both the calcification and accumulation of fluoride may result in melatonin deficiency.

Scientific research has shown that fluoride accumulation can be associated with changes in sleep cycle regulation and sleep behaviours.

The mechanisms behind calcification of the pineal gland are not yet known in their entirety, science has proposed three theories:

  • Aging: with the passage of time, calcium spots, i.e. calcification, can be seen on the pineal gland.
The elderly have much lower serum values than the young, and this may be one of the causes of the frequent sleep disturbances reported by them. However, the presence of calcification of the pineal gland has also been noted in children.
  • Metabolic activity: some studies have found that higher metabolic activity of the pineal gland corresponds to a higher rate of calcification.
  • Chronic diseases: Chronicity of some diseases seems to be directly related to increased calcification; the reverse is also true: individuals with high calcification of the pineal gland may develop chronic diseases such as migraine, Alzheimer’s disease, and schizophrenia.

Dietary supplements promote the well-being of the pineal gland

Dietary pineal gland supplements supplements that stimulate the melatonin production, like EPITIDE®can serve to regularize the function of the pineal gland and maintain melatonin levels useful not only for performing the functions to which this molecule is deputed, but also to prevent morbid states and even important clinical conditions.

The use of this supplement, in combination with other products such as NATURA SANAT women’s health formula®, can also counteract the oxidative stress that causes inflammatory processes in the female reproductive system, particularly by improving the function of the ovaries by reducing their peptide deficiency and restoring protein synthesis within their cells.

Melatonin catalyzes the transformation of the hormone T4 into T3, so one of its various functions concerns an important organ in our body: the thyroid gland.

A deficient thyroid secretion does not provide sufficient energy to the respiratory chain, and it begins to produce pyrophosphate, which, by binding to calcium ions, generates calcifications in various organs such as the pineal and thymus and reduces the respiratory efficiency of mitochondria.

The use of pineal gland vitamins such as NATURA SANAT thyroid health formula®, which improves the function of the thyroid by reducing its peptide deficiency and restoring protein synthesis inside their cells, normalizing thyroid function, contributes to combat the damage due to calcification of the pineal gland.

Melatonin can also play an important role against the aging of the eye. A melatonin supplement can be administered, with a view to prevention, already after the age of 40-45, and is recommended in subjects with the first signs of diagnosis of AMD (Age-related Macular degeneration)

The use of a supplement for pineal gland, such as NATURA SANAT vision health® is effective in blocking or at least delaying the progression of macular degeneration, while preserving vision.

Epitalon and Pinealon, powerful short peptides contained in the rich formula of STRESSFOLL®, increase the production of melatonin and support the efficiency of the epiphysis.

They contribute to not only maintaining the good health of the pineal gland, but also to the stimulation of the central nervous system, counteracting mental and emotional stress and offering a protective mechanism against Alzheimer’s disease.

We have come to the end of this article. We have seen how important the pineal gland is for our body and how prone it is to degenerative phenomena that can cause its malfunction, and in particular the decrease in melatonin production.  Pineal gland support is crucial for promoting the proper functioning and overall health of this important gland. It is therefore necessary to support the proper metabolism of this important gland intervening with the best products, the result of accurate scientific research, useful for improving its efficiency and supporting its good health.

Nanopep is at the vanguard of the study and production of effective short peptide-based supplements specifically designed to improve and enhance the functions of various organs and systems in our body, prevent the development of pathological conditions, and contribute to people’s overall well-being.

FAQ

Different studies indicated that pineal gland calcification was significantly associated with aging, metabolic activity, and chronic diseases.  With the passage of time, calcium spots, i.e. calcification, can be seen on the pineal gland. The elderly have much lower serum values than the young, and this may be one of the causes of the frequent sleep disturbances reported by them. However, the presence of calcification of the pineal gland has also been noted in children. Some studies have found that higher metabolic activity of the pineal gland corresponds to a higher calcification rate. The chronic nature of some diseases seems to be directly related to increased calcification; the reverse is also true: individuals with high calcification of the pineal gland may develop chronic diseases such as migraine, Alzheimer’s disease, and schizophrenia

The use of dietary supplements can counteract oxidative stress and combat damage due to calcification of the pineal gland.

The pineal gland in some animals is also called a “third eye”. The reason is simple: this structure is photoreceptive, while it also regulates circadian rhythms and thermoregulation via hormone production.

Dietary supplements that stimulate the production of melatonin, such as EPITIDE®, can help to normalize pineal gland function and preserve melatonin levels that are beneficial for performing the functions that this molecule is assigned as well as for preventing certain diseases.
